Webquest created by Mrs. Robbin Carlton
The Problem:
You and a friend have been given $5,000 each to spend on a 7 day dream vacation. As you plan your vacation each of you must keep a detailed travel log. You and your friend have the freedom to choose your vacation destination. You will develop a promotional flyer that explains how you made your vacation choice and your experiences while on your trip. Make sure to include the following in your plan and presentation:
1) Detailed Travel Expenses (use Microsoft Excel to set up a spreadsheet showing where your spent your money)
2) Lodging (Where will you be staying? How much will your stay cost you? What amenities are included?)
3) Food (Where are you eating? What are you eating? How much are you spending on food each day?)
4) Entertainment (Shows, Movies, Concerts, etc.)
5) Travel Dates (You need to make sure you list your actual dates)
6) Estimated Travel Time (How long is it going to take you to reach your destination? Is this a road trip? If so, how long are you going to be on the road? etc)
7) Spreadsheets from each person showing daily expenses
